In a day when the Bulge, metrosexuality, and banana hammocks rule the current underwear markets, we went throwback on our work for nonbox/Portland and focused on the idea of The Handsome Man. Though a brand still in its infancy, the name and packaging opened more than 200 doors (among them Macy's, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, as well as regional haberdashers) in its first year. It also won us peer recognition in the Communication Arts Design Annual. |
