lacrosse: Strangely enough, this was a one-off project that earned us the entire account. Fact: most packaging is pretty and all, but fails to take any available opportunity to connect with the reader via narrative about them. This was our shot at telling a brand story we really hadn't written yet. Readable at 10 feet, quickly descriptive in regards to product and packed solid with copy that played to the blue collar crowd, it started to define the voice of the brand. Eventually, this work led to the entire new Blue Collar position.
Among our favorite was a boot box that doubled as a coffin for an old pair of well-loved Lacrosse boots. Given the boots served the wearer so well, we thought it appropriate they be given proper burial. Bonus points for a send-off by fire.
